Sorry about that toyota. Guys if anyone mods the inf these drivers should work for all geforce cards. We just need the modded inf or a modded inf version. Thanks

tweakboy, there is no need to be obsessed about every driver release. I bet your 8800gt has not seen a single performance increase from drivers in years. unless there is some new feature or specific game issue then just stick with drivers that work.

Yep and he continues after each driver release, talk about how his 8800GT shows impressive gains but doesn't provide any benchmarks.

Why would you want to run a Tesla driver on your beat down old Geforce again...?

Mir96 these drivers are for nVidia's Telsa line of graphic cards but also work with all geforce cards via a modded inf. These are WHQL.

Soo far Aero is snappy smooth and faster then ever.

Games are fast no weird artifacts in games,, MAFIA II , MASS 2 UT3 , all run flawless and these drivers even say when you try to install them use express mode so it just copies over the older drivers.. very neat and fast install, just put the modded inf in the proper folder that contains all those files... good luck,,have fun,

Nvidia doesn't have "Telsa graphic cards". They do have Tesla GPU computing processors. :p

I think we will only have to wait 1 more week before the regular geforce graphic card WHQL drivers are out.

They are releasing the Geforce GTS 430 on October 11th so I would bet that is the day.

These are the most stable drivers I have come across.

I dont know why nVidia releases for Telsa and not Geforce, but no worries a modded inf will do the trick.

SOo far all my games work and their smooth and nice IQ soo Ill stick with these drivers until some WHQL geforce come out.... Until then I recommend everyone to install these drivers,, as they are not beta and are clean install.

Its sweet when u run the install u can choose clean install or upgrade, I just did upgrade, saves your settings in npanel and what not plus no need to uninstall then run driver sweeper etc etc...

So.. uhh... got any performance hikes that matter on that 8800? Any 3Dmark vantage scores increase for ya? Any additional FPS in games?... Just wondering... because I don't believe you do...

Still waiting for some new drivers for my GTX 460.

I'm in same boat.

For all the hogwash that gets passed around on forums about nVidia having some kind of edge in the driver department, after having owned both cards I much prefer AMD's timely release schedule.

I've got an issue in the 258's that may or may not be fixed with the next WHQL's, but having to wait so friggen long for a driver update is IMO ridiculous. More so given all the claims about increased speeds from new drivers that nVidia is giving to review sites. If these reviewers are asked to use the increased performance drivers that are non-WHQL, then the users should have the WHQL version within a couple weeks to a month. As it is, it looks like review sites are using a different set of drivers to bench with than what is available as WHQL from nVidia's site. I'm talking about reviews that were done a month ago.

Sept 12th
http://hardocp.com/article/2010/09/13/msi_n450gts_cyclone_video_card_review/2

"For the MSI N450GTS Cyclone, we are using the ForceWare 260.52 Beta driver supplied by NVIDIA. For all AMD GPU based video cards, we are using Catalyst 10.8 WHQL."

While this is for the 450, this is the same driver set that was being pimped for the rest of Fermi to provide performance increases, but nearly a month after this review we are still sitting with the release version driver for the 460. Weak.
