Yes. The original poster should note these are $50 AR of $16.

Yes, according to their circular that started on Sunday, July 27, 2003 - its $65.99 on sale then a $16 rebate. Depending on your local taxes....and do not pay any attention to the Best Buy website, as its been wrong for some time now...

I got two of these and i'm testing them on my P4P800 deluxe right now. They're kicking some major ass, I've already gotten to 270 fsb running at 400mhz!

A worthless figure unless you include the timings as well.

Anybody see the ad scam this weekend from BB on the same memory in 256 form? It states they are $65.99 - $16 MIR for $49.99.

However in the fine print it says that is after you make a special MSN purchase and get the $100 from that deal. I went to the website to check it out, I was going to order on-line and pick them up. Well they are on there for $149.99 with a $16 rebate. Confused

It wasnt' 1:1 like I thought it was, more like 3:4 or something, but the timings were at 2:2:2:5 I think. And you really didn't have to be such an ass about it.

Froinlaven, is your ram 2.5V or 2.6V? Glad to hear it works well with the springdale chipset. I'm going to try it out on my new IS7.

Nearly everything works well with Springdale and probably the same with Canterwood. Only these N-Force people keep on complaining about "bad" memory.

Ok, let me try this:

Hey froinlaven, thanks for sharing your super uber cool experiences, and welcome to Anandtech! It'd be awesome if you could take some of your valuable time out and also post your timings, as that's also important to people who might be in the market for this memory. Imagine what a great deal it would be if it performed well in all aspects and it was cheap! It'd be like dating both of the Olsen twins at the same time!

Maybe later we could get together and play some video games together, or maybe watch some tv?

Your pal,

Iwearnosox.

Oouch ... beware the crack of his quip. 🙂

On a side note I returned mine from a few weeks ago and repurchased them at this price.

I'm doing cas2-3-3-7 at 217mhz dual channel enabled... not the best, but it'll suffice at this price.

Any consensus on the 2.6V versus the 2.5V choice?

I had bought a pair - one week apart but from the same store and rack - and didn't notice till last night that one is 2.6 and the other 2.5.

Now I need to exchange one for a matched pair - and hopefully find two out of the same batch and voltage....

Thoughts? Comments? No quips/whips........

I bought two last night and they are both 2.6V. Have not tried them yet. When I do i will post results from my P4P800D.

I've got 2 sticks running 200MHz (400MHz DDR) 2.0-2-2-5 @ 2.77volts, dual channel in my 8RDA no problems, and it will do 205MHz stable at these timmings. Mine is the 2.5v stuff. I'm a cas addict rather than a MHz freak. Though i've done the vdd mod to my board, i've never cranked it up to see what it peaks at.

I need matched dimms. But since this is thru rebate, cant I only get 1 rebate per person? I saw em at the store and it listed em for $149 - $100 in rebates. Is it a single $100 rebate?

haha you guys are funny. That must be the way to get massive amounts of posts and climb in the ranks. By bickering and saying negative things to each other. Way too much time spent in front of the monitor frying your brains.

Oh and newbs must be the ones with less posts than the gods of postits. That would mean I am ubernewb.

On the other hand the price on this memory sounds like a great deal.
