Good thing that's there...I am glad the bigger image has allowed me to see more of the RAM.

Is this high density stuff? Or compatible in most boards?

I wouldn't trust it. There's no way that's good quality 7ns RAM... I bet they're not even 7ns chips! Most of the time if you see something that ghetto that says 7ns RAM it just means they're 7.5ns chips and the people there don't know any better. For instance, my friend bought a 512MB dimm with PC133 Infineon chips... however when he got it they were 8ns chips! That means they sold him PC100 RAM and advertised it as PC133 just cause you can clock it that fast at cas3, but that's clearly misadvertisement there. In any case if you care about what kind of RAM you get I wouldn't get it from these guys.

2 weeks ago, I picked up a 256 MB memory module at a computer show for $49.00. The verdict: Micron 7ns chips on a 3rd party PCB. Also, at that time, 7.5ns memory (w/Micron chips) was selling for $45.00. This could easily be 7.5ns memory, but getting 7ns memory might be kind of rare.

I hope this isn't the wrong place for this...

but I would definitely stay away from this supplier. Bought some ram from them a year or so ago, didn't work. I returned it & someone at Premier signed for it but they denied receiving it... Luckily I insured it, but oly for half its value.

Reseller rating for Premier Systems - 3.2

lookin4dlz - while not a hot deal, your comment was at least helpful to me. I looked over their ratings and comments b/c of your post and quickly decided to stay clear of them. Man, TONS of bad feedback.

Thanks.

For $50 you can get 256MBs of high quality, PC133, CAS2 RAM from crucial.com (2nd day shipping is free). Why take a chance with some "no-name" brand? Just my opinion :)

I have to agree with gdelph here. Pop a few extra dollars and get something that's proven to be good from a company that's proven to be reliable. Peace of mind is worth ten bucks.
