I have a p3 1Ghz with a Asus CUSL2-C Motherboard and a stick of pc133 256mb. I added another stick of 256mb pc133 and after 45-50 seconds it locks up or sometimes restarts. I tried rearranging the sticks differently in the 3 slots on the motherboard but it it doesnt matter and I can use either stick alone and it is fine but together it locks the system up....what is wrong?

I had the problem with DDR333 pc2700 ram... I had the ram clock speed set to 166mhz... and it worked ok w/ 256 megs or ram, but when I added another stick, it would crash when it switched memory banks.. (high memory programs)... so see if your ram clock (I forget if this is the right terminology) is set correctly in your bios.
