zoiks

Just checked at shoppinglist.com. Im not sure what brand these are but i dont care, ill just go and throw it back at em if they crappy.
heres the linkeroo at outpost where as usual its more expensive. link
Me im hurting for ram. With my epox/1800+ and seagate 80gig sitting idle, im ready for it.

It stinks that there is no Fry's here in the East. I am in Tampa, Florida and I do believe I would give up every CrapUSA in the area for one Fry's. Has anyone ever had any luck pricematching an out of state store like Fry's with a national place like BB or blech... Circuit City?

RISman,

I don't think they would do that. A week ago, some dude was in front of me trying to PM a dlink router on outpost and the sales rep said they can't do that. BUT, after he said that, he asked what the price difference was...

I had to leave at this point, but it sounded like the customer might have been able to PM with the website.

Perhap's I'll give them a call...heck I don't have anything to lose. I'll just tell them I was at Fry's in Phoenix, and noticed the lower price, but would like it shipped to St. Louis. I wonder if they would buy that!

i went to fry's website and i found this

I would like to purchase products on-line.
Fry's Electronics does not currently sell products on-line. If you would like to purchase products over the telephone using the Telesales office at the Sunnyvale store, please call the Sunnyvale store at (408) 617-1300 and ask to speak to the Telesales department.

anyone interested in calling and posting results?

this would be a hot deal for all of us if it works!!

RAM seems to be of decent quality. It's made by Legacy Electronics. The 256MB module sold at Frys has the model number 87L5HDL0-1LDG. The chips on the module seems to also be made by Legacy Electronics. I bought two of them, along with the Soyo P4S Ultra + P4 1.6 $229 combo.

Who is going to be the nice guy and ship these all over the country for us? 🙂
