256MB DDR @ OD - $34.99 AR, possibly $19.99

Today's Office Depot flyer has 256 MB DDR RAM for $34.99 AR. If you find out the item number, you may be able to order it online by item number and use a $15 off $50 coupon if you have one. YMMV.

Edit: I had a feeling AT'ers would find a way to do this online with a coupon. Here is the updated deal --

1. Go to http://www.officedepot.com/offers/save.asp
2. Enter your OD coupon code there. Unfortunately for me, I only have a $10 off $50 coupon. Maybe others of you will do better.
3. Now go to http://www.officedepot.com/shop/express/default.asp (or just click on Order By Item # from the OD homepage).
4. Under Item # put in 571054. Under Qty put in 1 (let's not be greedy -- plus, you probably can only get one rebate from one receipt anyway).
5. I am sure you can finish the order process from there.
6. Get your $15 rebate form here
7. If anyone finds the manufacturer's $20 rebate form online please post it. Right now it looks like you will have to go to the store to get the additional $20 rebate form there (if you can). You can always try in-store pickup if you feel good about the odds of your local OD having inventory.
8. Send in your rebates quickly! OD has very short rebate deadlines. Deal ends 8/10. Rebate must be postmarked by 8/24 and received by 8/31.
9. Enjoy!

Last time I was in Office Depot B&M the only memory they sold was PNY. Hopefully they didn't get cheap crap just for this sale....😉

So where's the $20 rebate? CC has a $20 rebate form but it's their own form that says it has to be purchased at CC. So does anyone know if there's a rebate form on the package or in-store?

this one?

Nope, thats for laptop Ram. I'm sure its in store. I'm just gonna buy and then return if I can't get the rebate form. Worst case, I'll call Centon's 800 number for rebates. They're closed right now though

There are two rebates involved in this deal:

[*]$20 Manufacturer MIR
[*]$15 Office Depot MIR

Centon will only be able to give you a form for their $20 MIR. You'll still need to get a hold of the OD $15 MIR somehow.

where do i enter the coupon code? do you have to start with the special link to enter it at the beginning or is there a way to add it to items already in your cart?

OK.....so where do you get the $20.00 MFG MIR....?

*Also if we can't use the $15 off $50 coupon is this RAM worth getting for $34.99?

If you can't use the $15 off $50 coupon, I would recommend the PNY 256MB DDR at Best Buy over this one:

$69.99
- $15 Instant Rebate
- $20 MIR
------------------------------
$34.99 AR

The PNY is packaged in such a way that you can see what chip is on the PCB. Look for the Samsung on Samsung. Those are the best.

Edit: By the way, if you're getting the Centon from OD, and you're extra extra frugal, Circuit City has the exact same RAM for $64.99 - $20MIR. Try to PM that to OD to save $5 extra. Also, don't forget the 2% ebate! 🙂

How do you get the rebate from the B&M? As I recall, OfficeDepot's rebate form is printed out when they rang up the item. If you order it on-line, there is no form for them to give you.

i believe the $15 off $50 OD coupon has expired. however, there is a working $20 off $75 coupon.

FPSguy thanks for the deal!!! I just placed my online order - waiting for the RAM - should arrive Thursday - 3 day delivery....

I got it for 54.xx (after tax) - 15$ OD Rebate - 20$ Repton Rebate (will pickup rebate form from store) = $19.xx (AR)

Not bad.

PS: I threw in a bunch of Sharpie Permament Markers that I needed to make my order go to $75+ in order for the $20 off $75 coupon to apply.
