256MB and 512MB in Nforce2

As far as i know they must be the same size and speed to run dual Ch.

So either get another slab of 256mg or sell the one you have and get 2 512mg slabs.

I am running 2 256mg PC3200 Geils slabs in my Abit nForce2 board.
 
They can be of any size, you just need a stick in each channel. I'm running a 512MB stick in the first channel, and 2 256's in the second channel. It runs fine, and does indeed use dual channel mode.
