Price bumps on the Tiger Direct & CC to 240; B&H up to 220; amazon still at 210; that ebay link is dead.

I expect that this is just the first salvo in the ssd price wars. Intel, Samsung, and OCZ are also going to get extremely aggressive.

^I'm pretty sure OCZ is one of the intended casualties in this war. I honestly don't think they have the gravitas to compete with Tier 1 manufacturers for anything longer than a price skirmish.

Given OCZ's quarterly SEC filings, this may be true. OCZ has put almost all its eggs into SSD's. Their power supply division is almost an afterthought now.....very little of OCZ's revenue comes from ps's. The memory division's revenue is shrinking rapidly.....again, OCZ is almost acting like memory isn't where it wants its revenue to be generated.

And given OCZ's current reputation, which isn't exactly sterling, I think OCZ has a tough road ahead if it hopes to compete/get into a price war with the big boys on the SSD block (Crucial, Samsung, Intel for instance.)

I bought one around the 13th when it was on sale at newegg, they were OOS i bought it from Amazon for $240, then called them to price match which they did even though it was OOS, they gave me a $35 credit which i can live with paying $205 since i have prime.
