256 MB X1900xt

Do you guys think this card would offer around the same performance as it's 512MB counterpart? It has the same core/mem speeds but just half the memory.

$239.99

Check it out... only a 4fps decrease.... and about $40 less w/o a rebate. That's what I'm going with. It also beats the new 7950gt with 512mb of Memory on like 1/2 the tests.

EDIT: Whoops! Wrong link... fixed😀

No, I got a new PCI-E 16x mobo, and 500 Watt PSU sitting here waiting for a PCI Express video card. I found a 7600 GT for 115 bucks on newegg. That seems like a hell of a deal

Yea thats a goooood deal. Are you sure thats all the GPU power you want though?
I guess it's a great deal if you only game at 1024x768. Missed that

Already bought one. Here's another bench of the card on Neoseeker. It's quite awesome, mostly on par with 7900GTX which is quite awesome for $290 (at least that's what I've paid, you may find it a lot cheaper in the US). No turn back for me now. Quickly sold my 7950GX2 (which was awesome but I managed to sell it for $600) and bought a 256MB version of the X1900XT (Sapphire). It makes 5748 in 3DMark06 with absolutely no OC on the vid with an E6600 2.4@3.0

Absolutely convincing performance, cool price and very good pq. I love it.

Here's the 3DMark06 screen I've captured along with the CPU data and Everest info on the card

Arghh, just noticed the Everest screen is in native lang, sorry. Anyway, the GPU/MEM frequencies reflect an idle state ofc. The 3D freqs for the card are: 621/720
