Ad shows200GB, says 200gb, but lists sku for 250gb. If you check their ad online, they show here in the listing at the side "250GB" and their link on that page says WESTERN DIGITAL 250GB while showing a picture of the 200GB. I guess YMMV.

Hmm, the part number is for a 250G....

 
looks like they probably just used the wrong picture. this is definatly a HOT deal and i will be hitting circuit city in the next couple of days to pick one up. thanks op
 
If you add it to you shopping list on their website it shows up as : "WESTERN DIGITAL 250GB 7200RPM Hard Drive "

But....

Rebates on their site shows as:

$149 + $110 in rebates = $39 (now that is a HOT deal)

does this mean you buy the drive in store and then the rebates are online only?
 
I just called the 800# and the guy said the $110 in rebates are correct for the 200gb. Even though it says "web special" you can get the same rebates in the store. Ok, i'm off to CC, hopfully they still have some.

I saw that link, too, but didn't want to get into the $149 and $110 rebates in addition to the 250 vs 200gb thing. Good luck to everyone on getting SOMETHING!

 
You need to read the ALL the rebate forms before you all get excited about $110 in rebates. The last two are THE SAME FORM! One is for the online submittal, the other is for the US mail. Both are for the CIRCUIT CITY REBATES YE534. Total rebates for this HDD is still only $70.
 
This is a total mess. They duplicated the $40 rebate, so the last one is the same as the second one. Then they mixed the 200gb with the 250gb. There is no deal here. Even a stupid csr will be straighten out by this mess inside of another mess.
 
its not a good deal when a month ago i picked up a 200 for 50 and last week i got a 120 for 20. its not a bad deal but you could find the same thing online at or a little higher without any rebates.
