250GB PS3 Slim coming on November 3rd

silly me, and i thought sony was going to redeem itself with one solid console under one SKU, no more of these damned variations.

i honestly wouldn't be surprised if the next gen brings us 'reference' consoles and aftermarket companies producing them a la desktop GPU's.

That spare 120GB from the normal slim is worth at least $5.

there are sales now on the 120gb slim through dell.

check slickdeals. I see it often.

Its unlikely you'll see sales as a result of the 250gb model being introduced.

And convenience? Besides, not everyone is adept at installing these drives. Also, I remember when I was upgrading my 80GB to 250GB there was one fucking screw that just wouldn't unscrew. I think I just said 'fuck it' and left it as it was. considering I wasn't going to be moving the PS3 around alot.

Is it bundled with anything? MS is releasing a 250GB 360 with an extra controller and MW2 for $400.

Agreed. Just get th ebest bottom-line deal you can on the console and then, if you wish, pull the stock HD and replace with the size of your choosing.

I would buy the 120 and swap out the drive (if you even need a bigger drive) for a larger one. I want one for the media center capabilities and the wife wants a BR player.
