look, i apologize if i sounded like im raging, but i was simply tired of seeing posts that said "i dont care" because really, if you dont care about my post, why do i care that you dont care? i'll put this in a nicer way from now on, but its just that i've seen some posts around here where i wanted to post something similar to this (in the for sale section) but i'd refrain from it because i saw it as thread crapping and i've seen that members of anandtech do not take thread crappers lightly.

yes i was looking for validation on my findings, whats wrong with that?

again i didnt start this thread to argue, i think thats a waste of time, these forums are for discussion, and just cuz i have been a member since 2001, doesnt mean i have been totally into the scene. back when i joined, it was simply to buy some parts and it was not until recently that i started going into the overclocking scene. what u said about it being obvious that higher fsb is better being common knowledge is assuming everyone knows as much as you do. this is simply not true. i was always a believer that there is no such thing as a stupic question, only those questions that werent asked. at least thats what i was always taught at schools.

myocardia, i dont mind making friends at all, i believe i was courteous to all those who posted information that was helpful and the "raging" messages were directed at those who took the time to tell me they dont care because they already knew and expected everyone else to know. as for you, i believe you've posted some helpful information for me before or have given me a friendly bump before, so none of those messages were directed at you at the slightest.

jeffcy, wow theres a lot of jeffs on these forums 🙂. my card is a 9800 pro at 444/390. my agp aperture in bios is set at 256 and make sure you have fast writes on, because in 3dmark01, my score was 2000ish less w/o fast writes enabled.

Dude, my bad, the "RAGING!!!!" thing is a joke i use with friends, wasn't meant to say you were raging. It's from cartoon strips by a guy named David Rees, look it up on google, they're pretty funny. Wasn't attacking you with that. I was saying it in a way like "I'm raging because you misunderstood the point of my post". But in fact I'm not raging, just a reference to David Rees' "My New Filing System is Unstoppable" comics. Lighten up they are not personal attacks...

Reason I got on this thread was cause it seemed like you knew the answer to your own question before you posted, and were just posting to get the kick of having AT people agree with you and pat you on the back, that's what I was alluding to with the whole validation thing. I'll drop it though.

I was just saying, it's such a small change, there are different things you can do to get more performance, compared to 30mhz. But whatever.
