2500+ Temps question

I have my 2500 at 13.5x166 = 2.25. My case temp is 27, CPU IDLE/LOAD = 32/37. Are these almost too cold? I was going to get a TT Volcano 11 or a Zantec Aeroflow, but I don't think I need them...? Also, once I get my 3500 and start the FSB OC then I will notice the temps climb, correct?

your CPU can never be "too cold". More cooling is always better.

I dunno about the FSB. It might add a few degrees. I haven't done any concrete testing, however.

how are you getting temps that low on air? 37c under load is really good !
however if you increase your CPU's speed you may notice a slight increase in temps i know for me there is a big difference between my stock 1826 (2500) an dmy current 2.3ghz........

what kind of weather you do have ? what's the temp in your room?

it's autumn here and idle my 2500+ Sonata is looking at 26C case and 39C cpu idle. 44C load.

but a few months back when we hit a heatwave i was looking at 32C case and 46C/52C CPU

either mobo is reporting wrong temps or it is a very cold room

I know my mobo temps are accurate, it dropped a lot after I disabled my onboard sound. I have great intake / exhaust and I'm in my basement, so that could be why.

Out of curiosity, I notice you have a Mecca Case. Does it have the front audio/mic panel with the following 6 pin-outs

MIC IN L
GND
MIC IN R
GND
L-OUT
R-OUT

Did you connect those pins to your motherboard front audio panel, and what are your motherboard pinouts?

Did you manage to get audio when plug from the front, and also the mic?
