ok, ive got a 2500-m and an a7n8x deluxe..

few questions.. first, some sensors seem off here. for the first 20-30 min, it was reading 39c in mbm5, and 1.888v in cpu-z..

then mbm5 spiked to 115c, dropped back down to 39c, and now says 0c.. cpu-z also no longer shows a voltage? ... prime95 is still running fine though :X any ideas? its a rev2 board with the latest bios (1007)..

next question is the multipliers. i can't begin to imagine why 13x == 5x, 13.5x == 5.5x, and 14x == 6x.. is there any way to make these actually WORK? im at 2.5ghz right now with no effort at all so i can probably go a hell of a lot higher, but i cant because the multipliers are screwed :(

Pam, try using Aida32. MBM sux. And you don't need higher than a 12.5x multi to get higher than 2.5ghz! Now it's time to start raising your fsb. Even if you can only get it up to 210, 12.5x210= 2625 mhz. You probably aren't going to get any faster than that with air cooling, anyway.

You have to cut bridges if you want higher multipliers. If the stock multiplier of the CPU is 12.5x or lower, you'll get 5x instead of 13x, 5.5x instead of 13.5x, etc. If the stock multiplier is 13x or higher, then you'll get the options 13x, 13.5x instead of 5x,5.5x etc.

same thing happened with my mobile when i tried running MBM5. temps were all across the board even at idle but when i'd check the idle temp in bios it was stable around 42C. i didn't have this problem with my old motherboard so it's probably just a software/hardware compatibility issue with MBM5.
