2500+ barton?

Well, the range of multipliers that you can use (with modification) varies depending on the board you've got. Most Nforce2 boards will allow an unlocked 2500+ to use the multipliers up to 12.5x. Only the Abit NF7-S board and some DFI Ultra boards will let you use the full range of multipliers on an unlocked chip.

i can use all multipliers from 8 to 22 on my an35n-400ultra

ummm

ok how can i know if the chip locked. i reach the 12.5 but the speed comes down when i go 13 and 14 ?? why

i have nforce2

The reason that the speed comes down is because the board won't let you access the higher multipliers. My 8RDA Nforce2 board is the same way....my 2600+ mobile runs fine at 190x12.5, but when I try to use the multipliers higher than 12.5, then it either stays at 12.5X or uses one of the low multpliers like 6.0X.

Unless you get a new board, or mod the CPU, then you're stuck at 12.5x max.
