2500+ and Motherboard

My friend is buying a AMD Barton 2500+ and an Asus a7n8x motherboard to go with it for 170$ Canadian and no tax. We are both unsure if this is a fair price. Is 170$ a good price, or should he be getting it for lower?

Depends on the motherboard. If it's an A7N8X (normal or Deluxe) it's not a bad price.

Bartons are going for $110 Canadian and motherboards are usually more than 60 bucks. So yes, it looks like a good deal. How great the deal is depends on which motherboard and are there taxes on top?

1.725 max load around 46ish C when room is hot (now)... usually about 42C load (which is all the time since I rund UD agent and cruch cancer lingads all day long).
