2500+ and A7N8x ultra question

im bulding a pc for some with 2500+ stock hs, A7N8X ultra and 512mb pc3200 buffalo
What should i set the mlti and fsb at?? Also what other settings in the bios do i need to change?? Im not familiar with a pci/agp divider. Ive only used my 8rda+ with locked bus

Well do i have to gradually go up to 200 on this board or can i go right there with stock HS

You should be able to go right to 11x200, even with the stock hsf. And, yes, the A7N8X has the nForce2 Ultra 400 chipset, so it's got pci & agp locks, just like our Epox boards have.

No, you can use the stock HSF to cool when running at 200 FSB, but the temps may be too high for your liking. If I were building an OC'ed system for someone who would bug me every other day about minor problems, I'd put a better HSF on it

You might have to bump the voltage to 1.7 - 1.8v to get it stable at 11x200, and then I'd most definately get a better HSF than the retail AMD one.
