Best Buy has 25-pack spindles of TDK 4x DVD+Rs on sale for (make sure you are sitting)
$4.99 AR ($9.99 - 5 MIR).
My local store has ones made in Taiwan, so I do not know how good they are. Another local store has them for $17.99 - $5 MIR, so check all nearby stores. The item # on the receipt is 5395672.

I got mine with a 20% Friends and Family discount, so I'll end up with $0.12 DVD+Rs. You can't easily find CD-Rs at this price in stores anymore. I do not know whether F&F was a nationwide sale, so check locally.

I just picked up their last +r 25 pack....
Used 2 best buy bucks (McDonalds)

9.99 - 2.00 - 5.00 = 2.99 (NICE!)

they had plenty of -R's left for the same price!

Isn't RICOHJPN supposed to be very good? I've read too much about DVD blanks lately, that all those identifiers got mixed up in my head. :)

Were the spindles marked "Made in Taiwan"?

This place rates them "2nd Class".

It does say "Made in Taiwan" on the spindle package.

I picked up another spindle (their last one) at another local best buy. Package was a little different (more like the newer 8x packaging) but still the same Discs (RICOHJPN-R01-02)

They type discs have alwayz worked pretty good for me... 8x no problem. :)

This is hot, is the deal still on? I remember paying $20 a few months back at my local BB for the same discs. :| At least, I've heard that the quality is pretty-good. Screw the rebate, that's still a decent price for Ricohjpn OTD. I guess the recent 8x and 16x drives are causing them to radically lower prices on older slower-speed media stock. Good for me, I've only got a 4x drive. :)

Does anyone have a receipt to post? I was able to pick up the last pack of these and the rebate spit out, but the price was $19.99. I could PM with a receipt copy. Thanks.
