I have awful stutter in crisis as well without gsync. It may be completely unrelated. I couldn't get it fixed. I think i even have a thread on here about it, nothing could fix it.

I don't have the game installed anymore but I wasn't the only person getting stutter. Couldn't fix it so I gave up on the game and moved on to Tomb Raider.
I might come back to it some day to play though.

what is your frame rate when you see the stutter? If you have the ROG Swift display, the monitor LED should turn red when you have Gsync activated.

I couldn't get Crysis to work with G sync either. I have a Swift. I think Crysis 3 worked, but Crysis 2 gave me a lot of trouble too.

That's odd, it works for me. One strange behaviour I noticed is that when I first start the game, it resets the display back to 60Hz and I have to manually set the monitor to 144Hz. Other than that, G-sync works, no tearing, no stuttering unless there are a lot of enemy NPCs on screen.

Yeah, that framerate should be fine. Are you running the 32 or 64-bit version of Crysis? I use the 32-bit version (mainly because I was able to find a no-CD hack for it).
