If it's in your budget and you're looking at a bigger monitor, just get a 30" and be done with it.
Monitor is the only piece you can't upgrade.
High quality 30" 2560x1600 monitors have been around for 3 years now and there are still no monitors that come close to them, and it looks to to stay that way in the future as well.
Great investment and you definitely get your money's worth. Not only do they offer the best panels and picture quality around they come with solid warranties to boot.
