For those who don't know what 24 is, it's a series based around Kiefer Sutherland as a counter terrorist agent who works in LA. The show takes place over 24 one hour episodes, with each season being one day. It sounds like an odd concept but it's the greatest action show to hit TV in the past decade easy.

what. it comes out today at stores but only the 23rd at blockbuster (for rent)??? never really payed attention to that before, but do things always come out for rent after they come out for purchase? i thought it was same day

Yup, shes so annoying, I wish she would have died or something, but I think shes going to be big in the 3rd season. Shes gets it on with jacks partner in the 3rd season it looks like from the trailer.

You guys might also wanna check out CD / DVD Warehouse. I picked up Season One back in June for only $30. The place I went to had about 4 copies of it back then.

austin - that's a pretty damn good price for S1. The only CD Warehouse that sold DVDs also closed about 6 months ago I remember going there daily after high school.

Best Buy was giving out the first two episodes of Season 2 free on DVD. On the sleeve it had a $5 rebate for Season 1 or 2 and a $10 rebate for purchasing them together.

That's what I was referring to. Costco did the same thing. They had a fox table set up the week that Simpson's season 3 came out, and they were promoting the release of 24 season 2 by giving out that same disc PLUS an additional coupon for $5 off purchase of 24 season 2.

Not sure where they got their info from...I rented all 6 yesterday at a Blockbuster in Dallas...

I needed something to test out that 50 pack 4x DVD+r's I got from Office Depot for $45 on the way back from Blockbuster...

I destroyed the DVD+r's after verifying they burned properly so the RIAA (or their movie counterparts whoever they might be) won't come after me...

I hadn't watched one episode when it was on TV. A friend at work gave me the first season on DVD and after the first 20 minutes I was hooked. I don't like very many tv series, but this one is unique. You will like it a lot. It is really a great way to watch a series. No commercials, no waiting for next week. Its really hard to stop watching it. You will want to watch the entire set at once. Anyway, I went out and bought the second season and have started watching it. Now I will be all set for the third season when it starts.

Maybe cause the bad gilrs are much hotter.
