24 Pin ATX connector

I just received the parts for a new build, and the Raidmax case I ordered doesn't have the 24 pin connector. The Chaintech VNF4 Ultra board has the 24 pin power connector, and the 4 pin connector. There are sites with adapters for 20 to 24 pin, but if the power isn't needed, why add the pins? Is it a good idea, or do I need to either return the case or replace the ps?

Welcome to the forums DEEPSEA

Its always a good idea to use a well known make of PSU anyway.
If your case was cheap, then the psu is gonna be very cheap. [don't believe all the high numbers - they are peak usage numbers - not cruise control numbers].

i can only suggest that you get a 24 pin PSU,do yourself a favor and buy a name brand psu with high amps on the 12 volt rail
