I have (well, will get my replacement shortly hopefully) the BenQ G2400WD. For the limited time I've been able to use before returnign it for a slight manufacturing defect, it's been a great monitor, fast and vivid, good for games. Also, appears to be low power consumption and low heat dissipation

Biggest complaints are the narrow viewing angle, no height adjustment, and no ability to rotate the monitor long axis vertical for documents (which is a feature I probably wouldn't be using much anyway).

But it's still a pretty, pretty monitor

There was a wavy circular pattern in the monitor you could see from even slight off-angles. My guess is that there was some compression or mechanical pressure when the thing was assembled that was causing a distortion.

The vendor (Buy.com) has been great about getting a replacement, prepaid the RMA and shipped my replacement (expedited, no less) at no cost to me

Is there some (model number / screen type) site that lists models and their particular type... TN Film, PVA, IPS, etc?
Any links?

All your multiple spec. postings are 160/160 viewing angles.

BTW, Out of curiosity... Why are you simply posting model specs?
Are we supposed to tell you one TN screen is better than the rest of the TN screens?

ummm well i guess i wanna know different feedbacks from ppl who have researched LCD monitors.... but does TN or non-TN panels really matters? i use my pc for games, movies and surf. But i would like to get a bigger monitor. I dont do image stuffs/video editing and such :D i thought the only cons of TN panels are just the viewing angle? or there's something else i m missing?

The 160/160 viewing angle isn't the only drawback. It's just a simple way to ID the TN panels.

nice... so now the question is, which one should i get or it doesnt matter? when comparing contrast ratio, i noticed that most of them are 1000:1, but some advertised as 3000:1 DC, so will i notice the difference?
