Watched most of the 12 hours covered on Speed. Some great competition went on this year in LMP1 with Audi vs Pug and in GT1 with Aston vs Corvettes.

That nighttime stuff in the rain was nasty. I'm excited for the rules change/coupes in 2010. I wish there were a way to keep more than 1 or 2 manufacturers really competing at the top in any given year. They mentioned the fact that Penske and his Porsches by rule couldn't compete for an overall win so they don't even go. Maybe he should have just went anyway. If his cars came in first overall albeit unofficially he would have major bragging rights. It would be nice to have factory Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche, Toyota, Mazda etc competing at the top all at once. It would keep it more interesting.
