24 - Do they not eat or something?

this is my first season watching it. I don't recall any of the characters eating anything, not even like a candy bar or something.

I know it's a crisis but wouldn't you grab like a power bar something?

They also don't go to the bathroom. Nature's gotta wait when the nation's security is at risk.

The implication would be that the characters eat and use the bathroom while we're watching a different story arc.

If they ate or drank, they'd have to go to the bathroom. If you notice, they don't go to the bathroom either...unless it is to change clothes or have a private cell phone conversation.

Notice how they show one character for 10 minutes and then don't come back to him for another 30 minutes or so. I'm sure that's plenty of time to grab a snack or use the bathroom. Do you really want to show jack sitting on the john?
