Both my Acer 22" with TN panels have visible "grains" on their displays. Compare to my 2 22" Viewsonics, side to side, they are bad or rather very noticeable. I don't know what panel the Viewsonics are however. I would recommend seeing the picture quality first and make comparisons before you purchase a TN panel.
