Maha MH-C204F is a great little charger. Cheap too Below 20 bucks only thing is it's 1 year warranty.

. . .

Unless they changed the charger since I got it, it's a very simple wall plugin type-AC not DC. Based on the comments in the FW thread like c627627's above, the charger is of dubious value. I never opened mine, got a good MAHA charger elsewhere.

$19 gets you a charger that can charge 9v batteies in addition to AA and AAA. The kit has 4 850 mAh AAA, 4 2500 mAh AA and 2 9V in addition to the charger.

How has your experience with these batteries and charger been? Anyone else get it?

I ordered the package a while ago with both AA and AAA free shipping (search for the code on f**wallet). All are good so far. The charger is the standard 120V plug in however I rather use the LA CROSSE BC-900 Battery Charger.

Thought I was the only one who did that.

seems like a good price @ $26 since ebay prices are higher ..just bought the 8 battery charger with the 24 batteries/charger for $50....shipping was also free as there is a code on FW

Grabbed one. In this day and age of wireless equipment, high mAh rechargeables aren't a want, they're a need.

just ordered, no free shipping, but 12% worked just fine, oh and I did a chat with a CSR there, great CSR's, at least from the one I chatted with. thanks everyone, I can't say enough good things about the CSR's attitude and everything, perfect in every way for me.

I still don't quite understand the technology.

A very reputable company (Thomas Distributing) sells what is widely considered among the digital camera community to be the best batteries and chargers available in the world today. (Powerex/Maha)

Until *they* come out w/ a 15 minute recharge system/batteries, I'd be a little leary of how credible the system really is.

???

you are thinking of rayovac. my 15 minute energizer charges any nimh battery. the fan is strong and the batteries don't get that hot, i really dont care if i lose a theoretical couple dozen charges out of hundreds because of this charger, if thats true at all. its convenience of being able to run out the door at the last minute makes it well worth it, it slays the biggest inconvenience of rechargables.

Just received my order. Perhaps they ran out of 2300mAh batteries, because they shipped me 2600mAh batteries instead. Order was placed the 5th, the free shipping coupon still worked then (despite having expired the day before.)
