She wont go to jail. The case will never be prosecuted because she will be granted diplomatic immunity. She will just be expelled and barred from ever entering the US again.

Also, it is all to common for foreign diplomats from the 2nd and 3rd world to do what she has allegedly done.

This seems to be a common practise among India politicians. There was a sitting MP here that was busted for the exact same thing a few years back.

I know it's commonplace in India to for middle and upper class people to all have servants. Not shocking. Miserly b--- probably thought she could get away with paying the staff the same rate she was paying back home.

lol @ the pointy-elbows crowd. She looks very good, especially for 39, and her features are very much characteristic of the Aryan Bollywood type that most Indians strive attain. In that second picture on the boat where she appears to be wearing less/no make-up, she could pass as late 20's.

She looks good for 39 like hamburgerboy said, but I'm sorry I don't tend to spend much time looking at people who "look good for 39". Meh

Probably in their way of thinking that they can get away with anything because of the "diplomatic immunity" they are supposed to enjoy.

Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade does not enjoy immunity: US

The US State Department has made it clear that Indian Deputy Counsel General Devyani Khobragade does not enjoy immunity from US laws. A state department spokesperson has said that the Vienna convention allows for immunity only with respect to acts performed in the exercise of consular functions. The statement comes hours after India summoned US Ambassador Nancy Powell and expressed shock over the arrest of Devyani for alleged visa fraud and under-payment of wages to her domestic help.
The US State Department said, "Under the Vienna convention on consular relations, the Indian Deputy Consul General enjoys immunity from the jurisdiction of US courts only with respect to acts performed in the exercise of consular functions."

Now if I were a petty person I'd take satisfaction from saying "See you in January."
