Well, since this is a Jules"Literbike"Maximus thread, I might as well ask a question.

When you first saw a motorcycle, did you immediately think to yourself "I must ride that at all costs!" or did you have to ride one first to make up your mind?

I keep thinking about getting one but I don't lust after them right now having never ridden one.

I was trying to post a funny picture (auto related) but it wasn't working so I just got frustrated and gave up.

To answer your question, I used to ride my Dad's bikes when I was in my teens and had ridden various scooters/dirt bikes, anything with two wheels, powered or unpowered, but never owned a motorcycle until I was in my 30s. Always wanted one but just never quite knew what kind of bike I wanted or where to start to get into the sport. Then a guy I worked with bought an old Honda, he let me ride it and that was it... I was hooked.
