2005FPW. Got it for $300 from my brother late last year:D (He needed to pay rent, so it was a really good deal). I don't feel guilty anymore though since he is getting the 2007FPW.

There will be tons of new displays coming out with HDMI/HDCP support for VISTA. It's inevitable...

I have no clue what white bar you mean, if you look at the edge where the radar box is there isnt a white bar anywhere. Also this monitor is stocked at Best Buy if you wanna go see it or even buy one and test it out, 30 days to return it for no charge what so ever is always a good thing. :D

Look here at the LIGHT WHITE HAZE, I put green arrows next to pointing at:

It's also on the left side too, they both run up and down the entire length of the screen. That looks like to me some background leakage.

I live on Maui, there is no Best Buy out here and THANK GOD too, we have enough already with all these WHITE MAINLANDERS moving in thinking this is some damm California.

So for all of you that took a vacation to Maui recently, that's RIGHT, this isn't the BLODDY MAINLAND, LOL :)

We've only got Costco, Walmart, Office Max, Sears and Radio Shack, for any PC stuff, so I order oline all the time.

Where the screenshot ENDS, hmm not from where I'm sitting. It can't be, why because your game graphics are in that screenshot. The graphics of the game could not possibly appear in a screenshot if it was the end. The bars in the upper left and right are in the shot, words in the lower left are in the shot, plus that small windo are in the shot too.

You sure with a black background you can't see a white haze like this running up and down the screen? If not then I guess you're good to go.

Yeah im sure I am in the game right now chatting with people its just the way the SS is viewed. The game runs all the way to the bzel on the sides of the monitor if your looking at it in real life.

Maybe you're speaking of backlight bleeding that's occuring on your screen. A print screen wouldn't catch that.

For 23-24"? Probably the S-IPS screens like the Apple Cinema 23" and Philips 230WP7NS. I'd be cautious of the S-PVA 24" screens (Dell 2407FPW, Samsung 244t, et al.) that may have input lag. I haven't really seen gaming reviews of the 23" S-IPS screens yet, though maybe I just haven't looked hard enough. The LG L2320A looks like it has too high a response time from the specs.

I took back two 23" ACDs I didn't like them had problems. I'm looking for something now as 21" WS running 1600x to get better gaming performance.
