I have a OEM hsf from a 1.4 ghz T-Bird, will this be sufficient enough or will I need to purchase a larger HSF?

i run a 2000+xp tbred, not sure if urs is tbred or not but either way i use an slk900u heatsink with a vantec tornado fan and at stock speed it never caps 32c even under prime95, slk800 is a good choice as well and much cheaper, and just in case u want to overclock both these HS will do it, i took mine as far as 185/10.5 and 2.0vcore without ever going over 40c under prime95

Yes, your tbird hsf will work just fine on your xp2200. If yuo want something quieter but still inexpensive get a gc69 from svc.
