I just picked this thing up at CC yesterday ($250 after rebates).

I really like it, especially coming from at 19" Samsung CRT (which was great). Really, there's so much screen, I don't know what to do with it all.

That being said, I'm wondering if there a is a tutorial someplace on how to use the software that comes along with it? I'm not very good with colors and maybe I'm just having a hard time adjusting to the bigger pixels on an LCD but I'd like to at least try to calibrate it.

Once I get that done, I'll write up a review with some pictures for everyone to enjoy :)

Just got the same monitor yesterday at CC as well!! Got mine all set up with an 19" 4:3. This thing is NICE. I used the color calibration software...if you aren't comfortable doing the advance tweaks, just use the Basic with the Natural Color Pro, and it's a piece of cake. I'm VERY picky about colors and it looks great. CoD2 looks amazing, widescreen is supported in this rez. BF2 sux though, it'll stretch from 1280 rez :(

Wondering what to do now with my other 19".....If I should get a PCI card and get this 22" hooked up with 2 other 19" LCDs.....3 sounds nice :D Maybe I"ll sell one of the 19" though.......dunno. Or hook it up with a 17" CRT I have kicking around and give the wife a system.......choices, choices.

Lets you pick your home/office settings, sunlight/incandescent/fluorescent, etc, etc and adjusts accordingly to what the optimized settings should be for a given setup. I think it's great. Some people will certainly want to override, but this way is easy. PLUS, it has presets that you can choose from as well. Between all that, there's bound to be one setup that works great for you.

Makes my other 19" color look "off". Now I gotta figure out how to adjust the gamma, blah, blah to try to make it look somewhat comparable to my new Samsung :)

The only part about it that confuses me a little is the color correction/gamma chooser. Is the idea to match the square to the background. I'm not so much with the color.

I like mine. It does tear quite a bit in FPSs, though.

Anyone know how to get it to do 1440x900?

Just wondering.

I haven't noticed any tearing emily, but maybe I don't know what to look for.

Also, is using the calibration included in Nvidia's driver package an ok idea?

If you're experiencing tearing, your video cards just isn't fast enough.

They were sold out of these when I got to CC yesterday. nuts.

I had a monitor in my CC "cart" the other day when I was gonna buy... then they changed the price and the rebate. I hate rebates with all my soul. I would rather pay a few bucks more than risk a rebate down the road that may never come.
