Now Obama will have even more excuses he can use for why he is sucking so badly.
Whatever happened to "the buck stops here"?

Don't forget the 419 scammers. :awe:

That could be the biggest scandal to come out of these emails. Turns out the Iraq war cost almost nothing, and trillions of dollars were actually wired to Nigeria, because the kings relatives kept emailing Bush and asking for more money. :p

A non politically associated group needs to go through these since neither party can be trusted. Of course put that under "fat chance".

Yes, a special investigator with no agenda. Like Kenneth Starr. Buwahahaha

LOL, this thread delivers!!

Meh. More Bush Derangement Syndrome. He fired a handful of US attorneys for refusing to prosecute ACORN thugs for voter fraud and intimidation; Clinton fired EVERY US attorney when he took office, some of whom were actually investigating him and his pals. And the problem, as always, is Bush.

Kudos for whomever found them, though. Accountability is always good.

And that is why Bush didn't pardon Libby before he left office.

How lame. Libby is now a hero of the rightwing, making millions on speaking tours. He doesn't need a pardon. What he and the rest of the Bush Admin needed was a commutation of sentence, because I'm confident they couldn't have allowed him to spend a day in prison- he'd have sung like a canary. It was all understood long before any verdict was rendered. Libby firewalled the damage, took the heat for the rest. Very simple.

The only problem with your little spittle spewing is that libby was nailed for supposedly lying - not for "outing" Plame. I still can't believe you morons keep trying to whine about Plame when it was a non-issue from the start.... oh wait...it's your types that still have their panties in a twist over the 2000 election so why should I expect anything less than revisionist BS from you now...

He was busted for repeated and blatant perjury so severe that it rendered the special prosecutor and the grand jury incapable of busting someone for outing Plame. And it's not 'supposedly' lying, he was convicted by a jury of his peers on four separate charges. Or is everyone in jail today just there for 'supposedly' committing a crime?

Heh. And he lied precisely for the reasons I offered- otherwise there would have been no commutation of sentence- it was a very, very unpopular yet necessary action by GWB. Libby cock-blocked Fitzgerald, received a get out of jail free card for his sacrifice.

lol, you libs are a trip. You want so badly for Bush or Cheney to be responsible for the "outing" of Plame that you willingly ignore the reality of the situation. Oh well, have fun wallowing in your ignorance. :D

Ahhh of course, the unsubstantiated blanket statement defense. A CAD specialty to be sure.

What reality is that, CSG? The reality that Libby was convicted of four counts (obstruction of justice among them) for lying to the feds and the grand jury, when he'd have been convicted of nothing had he told the truth, whatever it was?

He obviously had reasons for lying, and knew that his back would be covered from the get-go. He covered his long time boss, Dick Cheney. If not that, perhaps you'd care to offer some alternative reason for him doing so- maybe along the lines of 2+2=3... rather than merely issuing denials and scorn...

Okay, my understanding is that records from the Bush era via the National Archive can't be released until 2014, but that doesn't include these new found emails, so they may be compiled by 2014 or not...

Is that some of that Obamanomics math the administration uses to measure jobs "save or created"?
