FEATURED ITEM:

There's never been a better time to buy more screen real estate!

Hahaha. Do they even make .22 19" monitors? If they do they've got to cost over $10,000.

The Princeton EO900 is .26mm, not .22.

That's what the ad said. Guess I forgot to do a reality check. The site appears to be down at the moment too. Still, $199 for a 19" seems like a hot deal to me.

i just noticed this on their site like 5 minutes ago; i was wondering when you guys would catch on to it. BTW, i have four refurbished monitors(two i have been using for a year and a half) and i havent had any problems with them. actually, most of the stuff i buy is refurbished and ive never had to return anything.

there are some .22 dot pitch 19" monitors, but they are mostly high end ones. My Sony GPD-F400 is .22 dot pitch, but it definetely didn't cost $199 🙂

I think I have 19' like that, got it from VA last year! Its .22 verticle pitch i think. Dot Pitch is the average of both! and i think mine is 26 or so.

companies always advertise horizontal because it sounds better then diagonal, but that's what you should be looking at. .22mm horiz is usually equiv to a .26 diag.

You're comparing apples to oranges. The reported dot pitch on
aperture grill monitors (i.e. Trinitron based) is smaller than
that on Shadow Mask monitors (e.g. the Princeton monitor). That
doesn't mean anything by itself. Even the very best shadow
mask monitors have larger reported dot pitch. That doesn't mean
they aren't as good (or, for things like CAD, better).

Dot pitch is really a poor way to judge monitors.

Hmm... The monitor image on their site looks EXACTLY like the 19" Sylvania I'm using right now (from Costco). Same model? Even the little grey text on the lower left part of the screen looks like it says Sylvania =). Hehe.

I'd have to disagree with ya there cremefilled...refurbs have been just fine for me...u should see how sweet my 19 in Nokia refurb looks for well over a year now...maybe I'm lucky 🙂...but seems like buying a big ticket item is just a lotta luck to get a perfect one..my measly .02
