You don't know what you're talking about.

really. Is Evolution scientific law?

You seriously need to read a science book before trying to make statements like that. lol

please tell me how either are scientific law? Did you witness the big bang over and over again in a controlled environment? Did you witness God's hand creating the heavens and earth over and over again in a controlled environment?

You're using phrases and words like "scientific law" and "theory" when it's obvious that you don't even know what the definitions of them are. If you did, you would see why your statements are so ridiculous.

He's saying you are an idiot for even mentioning the word theory in use with ID. ID doesn't even come close to a theory. ID is simply an idea cooked up to try and spread FUD about evolution, that is all it is. Nothing to do with the bible, not a theory, not even a hypothesis. It fails even the most basic scientific principles.

Reading comprehension, learn it, use it, love it. I said it was a theory at BEST. Did not say it was a theory.

lol at you. My point was neither will be scientific law. Now go have fun when trying to prove me wrong on something I never said.

Agreed, it doesnt even fill the criteria of a hypothesis to be tested, or hell, have any rational backing at all.

Again, I may agree with you there. Who knows? I left my original statement open ended on the fact is neither are law.

Well it doesn't say much for the degree when a failed businessman and possibly the worse President ever has one.

No I agree, anything outside of mathematics can only be theory at best. But examining the grounds of ID and the "evidence" used to support, one can see how it would never muster up to "theory" status, same with astrology, phrenology etc

Also the fact that Bush was a legacy admission and not admitted based on his merits. He got rejected from UT Law school for chrissakes.

thank you for realizing my original reply was opened ended. I intended to post something that sounded like I could have been in either camp. But it appears that some people have their panties wadded up tighter then some religious people.
Honestly, thank you.

The fact that most American's are mildly retarded should have been clearly apparent after the 2004 elections.

wow what a bigot statement that discredit the article itself. What does science iliteracy has anything to do with believing in evolution? One can know about evolution but not necessarily believe in it, just like one can know about the Bible but does not believe in it. Gosh.

i think you need to learn what the word bigot means.

No... you do. Evolution is not a scientific law.

The 1st "law" of thermodynamics is a scientific law. Evolution is a collection of theories for some of which there exists overwhelming scientific support... but there are no equations or fundamental mathematical relationships, hence "evolution" is not a scientific law because it cannot be proven using logical/mathematical constructs.

But the existence of lions and tigers is not scientific law either... but nobody disputes the existence of these animals.

Edit: I wanted to clarify that I do, of course, believe in evolution. I simply wanted to point out that evolution is not a scientific law. And not being a scientific law does not mean it is not absolutely correct. There are very few proper "scientific laws" in the field of biology.

Hell... Quantum Physics is not law either.

Isnt this true and false depending how you interpret it. Turtles and crocodiles certainly could be seen as dinosaurs that still live and birds evolved from dinosaurs too...
