2100+ does not want to OC

On my second computer I have an A7N8X (not deluxe) and a 2100+ w/1048 of DDR333.
I cannot get this setup over 1.83! Don't think it's the mem, I put it (the mem sticks that is) in my other machine and got it up to 208fsb without any problems. To get to 1.83 the vcore needs to be 1.85 and that sends the temps up in the 135c range. Anytime I set the FSB over 139 it will not boot. Any thoughts?
The numbers off the CPU are
AX2100MT3C
AG01A0218VPDW
98633920509

Thanks,
Mark

well your 2100+ is an a-core (AGOIA) so it's not going to overclock well. My friends 1700+ with a-core overclocked 1433@1600 so that's the main reason for your poor overclocking...🙁...

Your CPU has a palomino core and 2100+ is about the limit of this core.
This is the reason why it cannot be overclocked well.

true, but the AGOIA can hit speeds of around 1.8GHz-1.85GHz if you're lucky

AX2100MT3C

note the AG01A its not agoia .... plus also note the T which = something like 1.75v

palomino can only really hit 1.8ghz max no higher

edit: remember its made on an 0.18um process and can only go so far
