It's a T'bred revision\stepping is 8\1 Stepping mask B0 on a Abit NF7-S Mbrd. My Vcore is at 1.65V right now and it fails on first run of Pime 95. It does not fail in the SSAndra CPU burn in at all and goes all the way through 3D Mark. My 3D mark01 score is 16565 and I want to push that some more if I can. I have a 9800 Pro also. It is running at 47C right now also. My memory is 1 x Corsair TWINX PC3200 1GB(2X512M) TWINX1024-3200C2PT (Platinum) running at aggressive which is 7-3-3-2 I think.

What else do you need to know?

200x11 is more than likely going to require around 1.70v actual voltage (not bios setting) to be Prime stable, with a T-bred B.

Actual voltage is what is actually being delivered to the processor, not what you set it at in the bios. And if you want to overclock with a psu that only has 12 amps on the +12v rail, you need to get yourself another video card or an Asus motherboard. That 9800 Pro pulls more 12v juice than your processor, and all new Athlon motherboards power the processor from the +12v rail, except the Asus A7N8X models.

I have to agree with myocardia, in that this 2100+ (I have two of them, both AIUHB 0302), will need slightly more juice to run at 200 X 11x.

I need 1.675v in BIOS, which is 1.675v -1.71v actual to be rock solid around 2.2 Ghz. Both of my boards are slightly different as to how much overvolting they do, but they are similar.

2.3 Ghz, I need 1.775v actual
2.4 Ghz, I need 1.825v actual
2.47 Ghz.... I need all the board can give me which is just under 1.9v.

These are approximations, as the overvolting fluctuates according to the demands placed on the CPU.

So does this mean I need a new power supply now? What is recommended? Antec True Power 400W?

Added edit:
Will a 2500 Mobile take less power or more because I am about to replace this 2100+ with one. It is a:
AMD Mobile Athlon XP2500 Processor(Tray) (AQYHA:0410TPCW)

Hell, I can't get any 200 FSB to stay stable enough to run Prime95. Why not? I'm all the way down to 9X200 and 1.7V and no go.

It's more than likely because you have an older version of the NF7-S. Either that, or you have your ram timings set too "tight" to be stable at 200 fsb.

edit: Nevermind, Corsair XMS PC3200 will run quite a bit faster than 200 mhz at those timings.

Tnvolsfan,

Is your RAM voltage below 1.7v actual? If so, you likely need to bump it up a notch or two. Most of the OC'ers RAM out there requires a little extra juice to run. Depending on the chips used (BH-5 / BH-6 in particular), you may need 2.70v - 2.75v actual to run stable at 200 Mhz FSB.

Check my rig Myocardia. It's a rev 2 board.

It runs everything fine but Prime 95. What else could I run to test it's stability?

i have to confess to being jealous of your o/c
i could not get 11x200 to work with vcore upto 1.775 [and that's with my a7n8x over-volting slightly!]
i got it to run 9.5x200 fine at 1.675vcore and by this i mean it ran ssoft cpu burin in, 3dmark01 and prime95; it wont run 10x and 10.5x but at 11 it crashes immediately with prime95 and 3d as well

the opposite to you, i found that ,y setup was more sensitive [ie crashes earlier] with 3dmark than with prime95 and usually on the 1st test

I'm convinced it's my power supply. A Turboline LCA-350ATX that came with the case. I have 4 fans and a 9800 Pro with a DVD +-RW and a Maxtor 120GB and it will not stay stable in any range above 2.0 Ghz.

What should I get with $65 to spend?
