He called the new CM, it's no mistake. Much the opposite, it's political butt-covering. A few grand in city funds isn't anything when you're a career politician trying to get a good-guy image by giving back to the people that your predecessor stole from.

amazing that the city would blow 21grand on that.

if people found out that the city blew 21 grand on NOTHING im sure there would be a little bit of complaining.

It's a lot better than some cities that pay research firms millions of dollars to figure out how to rework the voting districts so that a particular political party will be in control *coughBALTIMOREcough* - and nobody ever complains about that.

I get $10,000 in the mail every month. It's called a paycheck and you get one when you have a job. Yours may not be $10,000, however.
