20yo Guy breaks into St. Louis home after BLM facebook argument, gets shot.

where is the usual techboy racism? it's way too hidden here...

If you think I'm racist, there's a misunderstanding. While I do have a problem with the ghetto thug culture, it's not a race thing. It's a behavior thing. I have a problem with crazy ass trailer trash meth heads too.

"He walked over there and into a gunfight," Gebhard's uncle, Patrick Brogan said, drawing on accounts offered by friends of his nephew. "When he got there, he was met with a gun and the guy killed him."
WTF kind of BS is this?

trying to make the kid sound like he went over for tea and crumpets and the owner shot him for kicks?

wow. just wow.

It's a bad idea to argue politics over the Internet for this reason.

But yeah, dude threw a 50lb planter into the window, shattering it.

They were mutually friends with someone on FB thus beginning the banter and didn't know the guy was a cop. Is that right?

I can't imagine what people with bi-polar disorder must be going through. Still, this sounds like a justified shooting on the part of the officer.

Gebhard sounds like a big dude. The officer was just protecting his wife, mother-in-law, and little children. Just a shitty situation, though.

Where is the argument about how this poor kid's life wouldn't have ended if it wasn't for evil vile guns that no other country has except for us stupid 'mericans?

"shot by off-duty St. Louis County officer"

Ah, now I see why.

they have trouble controlling their emotions as well as a distorted view of the world. they see the extreme in things. chaos in their minds make concentrating very difficult. bad decisions are hard to say no to. the range of emotions, and therefore actions, make personal relationships difficult.

I am the same size and it's just a little above average for a man. I am not that big but can be imposing to smaller people.

BLM is a legitimate expression, but at the same time the root cause of it all is elevated levels of black criminality.

Just like the shooting in NYC recently - some dude feels like he was cut off in traffic, gets out of his car (because he "doesn't want to argue in front of his family") and starts punching another motorist, who stayed in his car, (who happened to be off duty NYPD) in the head. He gets shot after several strikes described by a witness as "haymakers" -- and the family is saying he was "shot for no reason."

I'm sure there are lots of details missing from the article, but this part is just classic:

"He was a sweetheart," said Nikki Toal, a family friend and resident of Waterloo. "The nicest person you could ever meet."

I feel like this phrase or similar type phrase is always thrown out by close family members.

morons gonna moron.

breaking and entering over an online fight??

i can not believe this isn't the onion.

This will continue to happen until we get stricter planter laws.

It seems like stupid thugs and criminals magically become genius, honor students who save kittens on their free time and never hurt a soul after they are killed. Must be some crazy magic bullet that hits them.

it's already showing up in the comments. 'he was a nice guy. he probably just went over there to talk'

Because maybe you expect their mothers and sisters to say "he's been an evil bastard since he was four years old".

Yeah, right.

Yeah, right.

Actually in Asian culture, they don't shift the blame or try to excuse their son's behavior. They apologize on behalf of the son to the victim of the crime and are disgraced by their son's actions.
