Hmm, I'm not seeing any mention of a 20Mbit service on their website. I would love to get either the 15Mbit or 20Mbit connection, but unfortunately I'm stuck with my campus connection, which one would THINK is fast, but after it gets bogged down by a firewall, monitoring software, and the thousands of students using it, I only get 2-3Mbit down average. 🙁

That's about my situation, except the fastest download I've seen on my laptop is about 1.7M IIRC, but that's still blazin' as far as I'm concerned. I saw a 1M download for the first time when I got here. Shoot, I thought 768K DSL was awesome when we got it back at my parents' place (as opposed to dialup *shudder*).

i have optimum online in jersey and i game mostly. there is really no need for the FIOS speeds. and contrary to internet myths, my cable gets sick pings.

i havent used the max of optimum yet, im willing to wager 90% plus of internet users or more dont even need anything close to otpimum or fios speeds

its mostly just bragging rights.
