20db+ mic boost clicks itself off all the time

For some reason when I'm using TeamSpeak, every now and then (completely randomly) the 20db+ microphone boost in the windows sound manager thing will just click itself off for no real reason. I don't even know until people on TS tell me that they cannot hear me anymore. While playing games I would even leave the window open that lets me check the 20db+ boost and it would still manage to uncheck itself while leaving it open. I never have had this problem before, it just started happening randomly. Anyone help?

Well, its weird yes but it doesn't help me out any. There has to be a way to fix this... tried reinstalling my sound card drivers, did nothing. Actually started happening after I took my computer to a friends house and brought it back.
