The one that mobos come with are usually cheap junk.
A surprising number of them are, yes. Not every "new" motherboard (even if a new model, worse if it's been on the market for a few years, and old stock), has a "new" CR2032. Most of them are pretty-much half-dead when you get the board. Still, should be able to get a few years out of them.
I picked up a few two-packs at the Dollar Store, where everything's a dollar. So $0.50 ea., at retail, plus tax of course, seemed like a fair deal to me.
Or you can buy blister-packs with like 10-20 on ebay, and take gambles on how long
those have been in storage in the warehouse. Half of those are probably dead when you buy them too, unless you get like dated Energizer or Duracell ones, that cost $10-12 for a pack.
Edit: OH~! I see that the linked Amazon smile link, has individually tear-off blister packs, for $0.40 ea., not bad at all! Should get some.
