If the Republican in any given race has publicly repudiated Trumpism and rejected GOP attempts to overthrow democracy then it’s an open question. If they haven’t, straight ticket Democrat.

Until the GOP proves to the country that they reject fascism no person of conscience can vote for them.

Haven't decided yet.*

*But I have a REALLY strong opinion on who deserves it more. See the post above. Republicans would have to completely and utterly denounce Trump. They would have to support vastly expanding our safety nets. Then I'll consider them competitive, maybe. Of course pigs will fly first.

I do look at each candidate individually. It would be really hard to get me to vote Republican, though. If they had a capitalist way to solve Climate Change, and I thought it could work, that would almost be a lock for me. If they included long-term care in Medicare, that would almost be a lock for me. Otherwise, the Democrat is likely to get my vote. But if the Republican denounces Trump, I'll consider the Green Party candidate.

The party that has a chronic habit of blessing the wealthy with more tax cuts and corporate welfare at the expense of the middle class and the poor will never get my vote......EVAR.

Like fascism is their only flaw, haha.

Oh, yeah. I forgot that one.
  • Republicans will also need to fund the vastly expanded safety net.
Yup, any day now.....

I'm no fortune teller, but I can place very, very (did I mention very?) good odds on the GQP not changing, and the Democrats being the only viable opposition to the RepubliQan party of batshit insane conspiracy lunatics.

It is almost certain that I won't vote republican, beyond that I'll be looking at the candidate not the party.

Pretty much this. Given how things are going, though, I don't anticipate a reasonable, rational Republican winning the primary and being worthy of consideration.

There's going to be even more deplorable, angry, self-fucking Trump bitches trying to push themselves into power in the US, so I'll probably still be at the "not one fucking scum republican deserves a vote" place where I am now.

Looking at the trendline the Repubs have established for themselves since Reagan convinced them that trickle down economics was the way to go to help the wealthy get wealthier, it seems by 2024 Trump will look like a liberal socialist commie hippie compared with the kind of fascist totalitarian racist that Hitler exemplified in his epoch years it will take to win the hearts and minds of "the real Americans who stand for law and order, freedom to establish home armories and white supremacy."

Too soon even though I know not voting for any Republican unless it's someone like Kinzinger

Just about ALL Republicans can't meet the minimun standards. Sane and tell the truth.

FFS Biden has only been in power two months...
Biden is like a new captain on a ship,
  • a ship was steaming full speed towards the rocks
  • while sinking
  • and manned with a crew of complete incompetents and saboteurs.
All three had to be addressed immediately
  • correct the course
  • stop the sinking
  • bring on a competent crew.
