Have we ever heard of an asylum in which the lunatics are entitled to vote for their medication? :-)
You can vote for any number of projects, but only the top 5 will win
That is, you and captains of other teams each submit 5 projects at the FB voting page? And then Sébastien either takes the project with most votes if there is one, or chooses randomly between the projects with most votes?

Right, you didn't get the email.

Sebastien said:
Hello,

A poll is open until March 8th 12:59 (UTC) for choosing project for sprint #1

You can choose up to 5 projects.

Best Regards

Sebastien.

(Link deleted because it doesn't matter.)

I don't really know any more than that.

Wrong thread. If you don't move it to the right thread I can do it later.

Or do you want a permanent voting thread? Where your picks stand until those sprints are run? That would be interesting.

Its 3 days, and starts tomorrow. Worth numbering 15 machines ?

Absolutely. Except it starts now if you start bunkering, or just run as usual and hope for late validation.

Which sub-projects are good on Linux these days? I'm getting 33% System usage doing MCM.

Do you have an app_config that's restricting system usage?
You misunderstand. Top says over 30% System usage. That's usually an indication something's not right. Often IPC slowing down F@H, but this is not F@H.

@biodoc, thanks for creating the No "time 0" stats thread.

SETI.Germany, who had their own special hourly interface to WCG team stats before, had to migrate to a new interface in 2019 if I remember correctly. I don't recall whether it was for Pentathlon or for the Birthday challenge. It is possible that something has changed at whatever interface Sébastien has been using, at some time after the last WCG sprint at Formula BOINC which was in late March 2019.

Let's see if Sébastien comes up with something, or whether this sprint will update at 00:00 UTC (and maybe 12:00 UTC too), or not at all.

Well, there may be no race stats, but we did 1 million points today on WCG, 400k more than our average ! I did 100k more than my average.

Since I first looked at the stats (today ~8:00 UTC), they updated only once so far, after 14:00 UTC. Maybe formula-boinc.org is fetching WCG's 12-hour updates now. --- Edit, it next updated after 20:00 UTC.
