That's okay, and I understand the sentiment... welcome to the thread. :)

13 men enter Thunderdome, 1 man leaves. :)

So we have a new thread because the OP is offended by the title of the original thread? Lame.

john, serious question.

why didn't anyone take ron paul seriously?
Serious answer. I'm taking him seriously.

One of the biggest failures we as a nation have made is electing democratic (as it is known today... socialist/communist) candidates.

Government is run amock, and we need someone who will stop the absurdity.

Rand Paul, can and will do that.

Way too early to tell... and you realize, that if we are in last place, that means Hillary Clinton won.

You really think Hillary Clinton not only is in the running but, in the lead? I think this election signals the death of the two party system.

Not only is she running, but she is flaunting a 2 Billion Dollar War Chest.

It's inconceivable to me that anyone could vote for her.

Likewise, Jeb Bush, is running a $1 Billion war chest.

I won't vote for him. I am done with the Bushes, as I have been done with the Clinton's for a long time.

I'm hoping someone beats Jeb Bush, and that is who I will vote for in our two party system.

I won't vote if it is Hillary and Jeb.

ok, I'll play.
So, at this point we have 13 potential nominees. Of the 13, who do you really believe
1) deserves the nomination and why
2) will be the first to drop and why
3) who will actually win the nomination and why
4) will there be a surprise dark horse candidate (like Bernie Sanders is turning into)
5) If Rand Paul is not nominated do you think he will run as an independent?

There you go, 5 civil, simple questions about your party.

That is exactly why I think this election signals the death of the two party system. Rhetoric aside, those who do vote, will vote, which may finally lead to re examining the Electoral College.

That's what the thread is about, is exploring Republican candidat4es, without them being labeled a freak show.

So far I know I am not voting for a Bush, and would like to see Rand Paul get some of the enthusiasm that Bernie Sanders is getting.

If Hillary is elected, I will pretty much be decimated, and lose all hope in America.

I see your point. There was a time when we could vote for someone who represents our ideas and ideals in Government. Today, each alternative is equally bad.

The final death knell of the Bush campaign will be when Cruz and Santorum withdraw and throw their support behind Jeb.

Your saying their support, will be bad?

I'm okay with Jeb Bush, failing.

-John

They're so toxic, their support guarantees anyone a loss. Lincoln wouldn't have got elected if he'd had their support. The fact that more than a handful of Republicans take them seriously makes me shudder way more than the possibility that Hillary could be elected.

Because they are religous?

You do know that Hillary and Obama go to church every Sunday?

Because they are loudmouth posturing bad mannered children who spout hate, prejudice and, economic stupidity. They are an embarrassment not seen since John Birch only the great communist conspiracy has been replaced by minorities, immigrants and, the poor.
