Did LeBron lead everyone in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks? He was #1 in four of them and tied for most in rebounds before game seven.

No, Green got 32pts and 15 rebounds to James' 27 and 11. Green also got 2 less assists and but no blocks to James' 3. It seems more like a wash, though Green serves the same point forward role. It's kinda ironic, what's the point of a PG if your point forward gets all the assists? Though Curry wasn't hot tonight shooting wise, he should have parlayed that into some big assists, but instead they're just turnovers lol.

I'm glad I watched the last quarter. Great comeback, shutting down a "deeper" team. The scoreboard didn't move for 4 minutes it seemed at the end there. I knew the next 3 would seal it.

He's talking about the series which LeBron led in all of four of those categories and steals for both teams.

I think he was talking about the overall series not just this game

I think that is one of the biggest arguments against Curry as being the best overall point guard. The guy can shoot like no other, but guys like Chris Paul defend and pass much better. It comes down to what role you need to fill. If Curry had other big time scorers on his team, he may be more inclined to pass like Penny Hardaway did.

I would take that other guy as a pure scorer over Bron if the GOAT was already taken.

When the best player on that team left, the scorer didn't win anything for half a decade till the team spent enough money importing other players. Certainly nothing close like consecutive final appearances only topped by the team that went for a decade straight.

Most Lebron haters will still hate him, and still bring up

he choked in the 2006 finals
he had to leave Cleveland to win a ring
Yeah he went back home, but he'll never win a ring in Cleveland.
He played semi poorly in 2 games of these finals

Curry's still MVP and a future HOFer.

*EDIT* how do you strikethru in VB?

just [ s ] and [ / s ]

I haven't watched a lot of basketball in the last 5 years but Curry's shots were awful, the timing, the form, how does the best shooter miss the entire rim so often. Lebron threw up some straight bricks too, 11 ft floater in the lane, turnaround, hits nothing.

Just saw a Jordan Pippen laughing meme saying: 73-9 ain't bad but 72-10 has a better ring to it.

Haha. 😀

There is so much individual and team fail in this GS loss, its hard to contain it to one post. From mr. jersey sales/mvp to harrison barnes to kerr to 73-9/up 3-1 to ayesha(?) tweets...back to a great 3pt shooter, but has no midrange game and gets smoked by top pg's...to all the GS bandwagoneers...and that's just on the GS side.

Few gave James and the Cavs a chance. Stephen a-hole said if James doesn't win a title vs. Curry, he's no longer King James, while both he and Skip clueless never gave the cavs a chance. I'm sick of the media and fanboi crownings of future champions and legends before they earn their stripes at the highest level of competition. Its safe to say that once again, this latest generation of ballers is no threat to the standing GOAT and his Bulls teams (just as Kerr is no threat to P. Jackson's legacy.)

On the other side of the coin, Draymond Green has little to be ashamed of, and is the one GS player who's reputation grew imo as an elite competitor during this post season. Not without exhibiting part Dennis Rodman nuerotic tendencies, but all issues come with the goal of winning in mind. I believe his competitiveness and abilities would make almost any team better.

I didn't think they'd come back from 1-3, but few did. Very glad they did. I detest Skip, I really can't even hear his voice without getting annoyed. That has to be the reason he's still employed is simply because he causes such hate and discontent.

we all know the ONLY reason that cleveland won last night...

RG3.

yes you heard that correct. RG3 brings greatness with him wherever he goes. he goes to cleveland and instantly they win a championship.

Those memes are funny.

One thing that annoyed me with the post game comments, particularly from Lue is all the comments about war. How what they did was battle and he'd gone to war with them. They don't know the first damn thing about war and it's insulting saying that.

Anyways, even though the playoffs made me dislike Draymond for him kicking and acting like a tool, gotta respect that he came up and congratulated James on the court. Didn't see anyone else do it, but I'm sure some others did.

What a game! You always worry a game 7 won't live up to the hype, but that was a great end to the season. A well deserved MVP for Lebron. Kyrie was amazing too.

As for the Warriors, all I can think is that Harrison Barnes shot himself out of a max contract this off season, but I worry some team will still be dumb enough to try and give him one.

I am extremely happy the Cavs finally won, and Lebron won back at home.

But... Anyone else slightly sad Lebron didn't complete that final dunk over Green? 😀
Green had a monster night, so I guess it fits better with the story line.
(you can have the ring, but you aren't going to dunk over me on the final play...)

Also, if Lebron didn't make 1 of those foul shots, I am convinced Curry would have sunk the 3.
The 4 point lead made GSW more desperate...
