Gut check time for Golden State. Fairy-tale season is getting ready to turn into a pumpkin. Time to see what kind of backbone they have and if they can dig out of a hole.

I watched the first half and turned it off. The officiating was so one sided it ended the game halfway through the second quarter when the Thunder had 20 or so free throws to 2 for Golden State...

I was really excited to see a good game too. Just got a whistle-fest at one end instead.

Not really sure if I'll watch the next one or not. Officiating has been so awful during these playoffs...

Welcome to any NBA playoffs since...ever. Homecourt team typically gets more calls. GS still ended up with 25 attempts from the charity stripe, which isn't terrible.

GS has one of the dirtiest players in Draymon. Did you see his post conference and the replay? His leg suddenly accelerated after he lost the ball and the whistle. How many times does he get to tee off on Adams?

Green kicked Adams in the groin before. In game 2. With his knee.

Twice in a row ? That's no coincedence. Green did it on purpose. Both times. He has lost all of my respect now.

My favorite teams going into the playoffs were: 1) Spurs, 2) Thunder, 3) Warriors. Too bad they all had to play each other before reaching the finals. I had a hard time deciding who I was rooting for. But now it is simple: I'm rooting for OKC. Go Thunder !

I actually think the Thunder have a serious chance against the Cavs. Probably more than GSW.

There's no way you convince me the first was on purpose...
The second I'm pretty sure was...

Go Thunder, I would love to see someone derail the Warriors lol. It's fun in the same way rooting against the Patriots is fun 😀

to me that looked inadvertent, but the one from yesterday looked 200% intentional.

You have to see the reverse shot. You cannot kick into the defender, that's an obvious foul. You know this right? You can't bring your knee and stuff it into the defender when they are going straight up, like your right to take a shot doesn't supersede the defenders right to not get kneed. There's incidental and there's playing the the incidental card. Green in the first brought his knee up ignoring that Adams had defensive position and used it to create space.

yeah to me that doesn't look intentional at all. it looks like his knee is bent just as it should be when running and jumping like he did, regardless of someone being there or not.

do y'all think sp33demon is comforting curry right now, or vice versa? or are they just crying on each other's shoulders?

Cleveland didn't show up. Raptors played great on both sides of the ball. I see Cavs winning next 2 games handily. A loss was good for them.

Love and Irving playedb only slightly better than they did in the finals last year...when they were both out with injury. And the team as a whole gave up board presence to an absurd degree. Not only did Toronto finally manage to find the basket, it was easier by getting numerous second and third chances.

As for the Golden Rods, only question is it more than one game.

Karl Malone (infamously) drove to the basket with a flying knee thousands of times in his career. It was widely considered dirty but rarely (if ever) whistled.

Although many people will believe the game 3 kick was intentional, the NBA has some wiggle room here with what's seen as a tricky decision. If they knew it was intentional, it's an automatic game suspension but it's impossible to know Green's intent. They don't want to make a decision that would be seen as affecting the outcome of the series. (The best thing that could have happened for the Dubs was for Green to get called for a flagrant 2, with no further punishment.)

Kicking a defender during and somewhat after a shot is common because the nba has let stars get away with it forever. Imagine if shaq did it tho. The nba created this problem and should rightfully be skewered relentlessly with either decision they make.

wow...no suspension..what a load of horsecrap.

Absolute bullshit. Whatever happens with GS now will have an asterisk. The league looks terrible for not doing what was right. I didn't have a problem with them before, now I hope they lose. Even defending it shows lack of character.

And now an amazing comeback for the cavs after totally changing their on court lineup. Gonna be a tense 5+ minutes.
