Warriors win their 88th game of the season, passing 1995-96 Bulls for most wins in a single season in NBA History.

Someone cue up crying MJ meme.

You forgot to add they also have more losses than the 1995-96 Bulls and a worse Win-Loss %.
hahahahaha let the excuses begin! 88 bitches, soon to be 89. Nobody will remember what the 95-96 Bulls did now. Only 2015/16 Golden State Warriors - most. wins. ever. 😀

Was wild when Lebron got Dennis Rodman'd by Draymond:
http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:16113485

Lebron says twice: "You don't know me or my city!"
He got punked in his own house, he's just standing there yapping while the play is still going on. I almost feel bad for the guy. He's not mentally equipped to handle someone as bold and crazy as Draymond. The game was already over at that point but that just put the nail in the coffin.

And being the stats guy, ignore those stats! How else to compare the teams when they played a different amount of games in the playoffs?

You mad bro? Don't be mad, you just won a free taco.

@espn

Tacos for all!

Warriors road win means you get a free Doritos Locos Taco at @tacobell June 21 from 2-6 local time.

Not a fan of Doritos Locos I take it.

Oh, Cleveland. Why you gotta be so Cleveland?
“America has only three cities: New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland.” -- Tennessee Williams
That Adam Silver interview was just god awful.
I watched about 2 seconds of it, swear to god. He smiled widely and lied through his teeth, declaring that the important thing was to have fair officiating. I FF right the hell out of there.

I don't care for either team but I'm stupid. Based on your stupid logic, any Superbowl Winner with more total wins than the undefeated Dolphins are a better team.

And a fatty like you is probably a big fan of Taco Bell.

Last night I noticed when the 4th quarter was well under way and GSW was up a few points that Steph was on the bench and Kyrie and Lebron were still out there. I figured game over. Kyrie and Lebron played the entire 2nd half. Like Livingston said in post game interview, when you're fatigued that can influence your decision making. Cavs played 7, the Warriors 11-12. S.I.N.

He's not doing as well because you can be more physical during the playoffs, especially the finals. His whole shooting game relies on that. Being more physical is what makes him not do as well during the finals.
I think that what Steph was doing last night defensively wore him out more than what he was doing offensively. He was super intense on defense.
All I know is that even if the Warriors win, this would be second time Curry doesn't get Finals MVP.

That is something you definitely do not know.

in the 3rd quarter I was feeling queasy because LeBron was having a disastrous game. His final stat line looks good (except for 7 turnovers) but this was one of his quietest performances in a big game since 2011.

Saw in the box score that Ty Lue played him 46 minutes last night. Of course a superstar will rarely say no to the head coach, but that's just dumb. I've seen enough LBJ games over the years to know he's prone to cramping. Not to discount his "motor" or fitness because he's played heavy minutes his entire career but some guys can play 46 game minutes without a huge dropoff. LB in my opinion is too bulky for that, even though his raw athleticism is off the charts.

Mike Wilbon called Kyrie Irving a ballhogger for an ISO-heavy 3/10 FG 4th quarter, but he doesn't realize Kyrie was forced to try and take over by LeBron's constant deferring all game long.

Sadly it seemed like the most fight LeBron showed was at the end when the contest was already out of reach. :\ I didn't expect the Cavs to win this series (even if they had tied it 2-2), but LB has played only 1 good game out of 4 so far.

What is up with all the calls to get Draymon Green suspended for the game Mon?
http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201...green-altercation-james-upset-green-suspended

How can anybody see that and think Green really tried to punch Lebron in the balls. My gosh.

Wow, wasn't even noticed during the game (the second failed swipe attempt was). Pretty sad considering that Warriors were criticized by some fans for last year's championship for not playing a healthy Cavs team and now probably same fans want Green out a game.

In sports, prior conduct has a HUUUUGE influence on the type or calls you get. He plays dirty and they know that. Whether he tried to or not on this one, prior conduct is always going to go against you. Go ask Ron Artest.

Even sadder that Lebron is trying to goad the NBA into suspending him. Lost some respect for Lebron for instigating that incident and then for his post game comments.

It just looked like someone flailing, trying to push someone off of his head. Even the 2nd failed swipe, looked the same. To even call it a punch is so stupid. His hand was open.

This talk about Green playing dirty, well maybe the OKC kicks, I didn't see that stuff, wasn't on ABC.

They're not going to suspend Green for game five. I saw that play a few times. I don't think Green contacted Lebron in the groin or that he was trying to. He took exception to Lebron stepping over him. Either could have been called for a foul on that, I suppose, but I don't think the league would toss a bombshell and suspend Green for game five.

What I've been thinking is that Tristan Thompson has been getting away with a ton of stuff inside that gives him position to make a lot of his rebounds. I haven't seen the refs call any of that stuff. I replay stuff a lot during the game. I checked out how he got a lot of his rebounds and usually he shoves a GSW player strongly before he gets the ball. No call, ever!

And you'd be incorrect.

Draymond Green suspended for Game 5

And what was the prior conduct?

Kicking someone in the crotch. Elbowing same person in the head. I agree his actions in just game 4 weren't enough to consider suspension, but do enough in enough consecutive games, and it catches up to you.

I have to say, I love the morons talking about Lebron's "finals legacy". Nobody brings up Bird, Johnson, Shaq, etc losing in the finals.

If you play bball, all that stuff happens. You make it seem like he has matrix like control of his body, amazing agility and lightening fast decision making to know just when to hit someone in the groin. Watch the play again, why would he hit lebron with an open fist if that was his intent.
