As the GOP does it again in this thread, still searching and searching and searching for some sour grapes to make whine from.

Maybe the GOP should smoke some newly legalized weed and just mellow out. At least the GOP might feel better that way.

I can almost guarantee you the Dems will have a latino on the ticket if there is a qualified one available in 2016

This. I think the GOP will run Jeb Bush to help garner the latino vote that has all but completely abandoned them.

I could see J Bush/Condi Rice being strong ticket, although the Bush name and Iraq War will haunt them.

Bush/Rice would be too closely much related to the GWB administration to succeed imo.

Only if republicans fail to learn a lesson from 2012, which would not be a huge surprise.
And too, figure in Karl Rove's role with the future of the party.
Even though Karl came up short this time, to say the least, Karl still knows where the money is, and how to go after it.

2014 could again be the game changer for republicans and religious fundies because, sadly, progressives, minorities and young folks never turn out in midterms as they do in general elections.

If I were a republican, I'd just sit tight for two years.
Republicans do not necessarily need to wait until 2016. 2014 could turn the tide in their favor once again.
Re pack the congress with more batshit crazy tea party fundies.
And with poor turning out from the progressives in midterms, republicans could easily be successful in doing just that once again.

Just imagine the rage from the Romney angry white man coalition if this happens...we may be facing nation-wide riots from these Romney supporters who have de-assimilated from American society.

What...no animated gifs? I somehow feel cheated!

This is a symptom of self hate. No, you shouldn't feel cheated, but you should know that you do. We are full of sadness and won't let it in. Grief heals grief and leaves only love.
