2016 Audi TT

That full screen satellite overlay GPS where the instrument cluster would be was pretty trippy.
 
I agree with the last sentence of that article, where is the R4 instead of this? That last picture, I couldn't help staring at the side shoulder line and thinking how dated it looks for some reason. Nothing seems all that fantastically new or even that much evolutionary compared to the previous model.
 
looks like every other TT.

I desired this car in the 90s. Its still a hot car. But... really the only differences from 1995 seems to be headlamp, taillight and interior design.

ehhh, maybe a slight exaggeration. But the new car already looks old.

That's my only real complaint with it. I understand its target audience and I have no problems with it. I'm also probably going to pick up an S3 in a couple months, so I like a lot of what Audi does styling wise. But this just feels like it was signed off on phoned in copy. The dash is neat, no doubts.

The problem with the Audi TT is it has the proportions of a FWD car... They should switch to a longitudinal RWD layout and move the front wheels forward to create space between the door and wheel well. Like they did with the 2005 Mustang
 
I dont know what it is about the Audi TT, but they have always looked like VW mated a 911with a VW Bug and then beat it with an ugly stick.
 
Be sure to scroll down that Autoblog page and watch the video on the new HUD. Pretty cool. But what happens if the power dies on you? Not sure I always trust Germans and electrical engineering.

My buddy just bought a used Prius. Entire dashboard blanks out on a regular basis :biggrin:
